Given below are four main ways\nyou can change the format of embroidery designs in different cases. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><h3 id=\"t1\" style=\"font-size:20px;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"converting_emb_files_from_older_version_to_newer_version\"><\/span>Converting EMB Files from Older Version to Newer Version<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have been using an older version of\nWilcom, such as Wilcom Embroidery Studio e3, and upgraded to higher version,\nthe files with old formats might not open. To remedy this, the files with older\nEMB formats need to be converted to be accessible with newer versions. This ensures a smooth workflow, especially during elaborate projects. The conversion ensures uninterrupted project workflows in the following ways: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>The files with older EMB formats can now be saved in the new e4 formats.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>All the old EMB batch versions can be converted in a single batch and be saved in a new folder, without deleting the old files.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><h3 id=\"t2\" style=\"font-size:20px;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"changing_emb_files_to_other_formats\"><\/span>Changing EMB Files to Other Formats<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, Wilcom\nEmbroidery Studio&nbsp;e3 or subsequent versions save designs to its\nnative&nbsp;EMB&nbsp;format. The EMB format files contain all the minute data required\nfor stitching a design, pattern creation and modification. As discussed earlier,\nthe conversion of files from Design&nbsp;Library&nbsp;helps in converting EMB in\nbatches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, this feature can also help collectively convert multiple embroidery designs so that it can be used in any other compatible software such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techjockey.com\/detail\/coreldraw-graphics-suit\">Corel Draw software<\/a>. Here is how you can convert multiple EMB file formats to other formats in batches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>After opening Wilcom Embroidery Studio\u2019s interface, click on the button that looks like a floppy icon (like save button) with paint-bucket embedded in between.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Browse\/Enter the source path where the EMB files are located.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Check the boxes of all the files that are required to be converted in a specific file format.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Next, click on&nbsp;\u2018Convert\u2019.
