For example you might get a mail that your email password is\ngoing to expire and attached would be a link to change it. Common cyber threats on small and medium enterprises such as Advance <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.techjockey.com\/blog\/advanced-persistent-threats\"   title=\"persistent threats\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"1991\">persistent threats<\/a> (APT), Denial of service (DoS), Password attacks, etc. create a far negative impact as SMEs lack the budget and resources to nullify these. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gravity of the situation can be understood from the fact that in 2019, almost 50% of SMBs in India reported a data breach in their system. Therefore, a pre hand knowledge of system vulnerabilities can minimize occurrences of system breach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"myth_4\"><\/span>Myth #4<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p><strong>I don\u2019t need to conduct VAPT for android and iOS apps<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fact:<\/strong> Mobile software is frequently compromised by ransomware, which constitutes 36% of all hacking attempts.<em> <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Security\naudit is a necessary step not only for websites but also for apps integrated\nwithin your system. Third party apps sometimes have an obsolete script which\nmakes it easy for hackers to hack these apps and compromise your system. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"628\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techjockey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/mobile-hacking.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18875\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Android\nand iOS apps may also have a host of plugins vulnerabilities.
