Adept, AI-based Startup Raises Funds In Its Series B Round of Funding

On 15th March ’23, Adept raised a wholesome amount of $350 Mn in its Series B round of funding which was proactively co-led by Spark Capital and General Catalyst. Major companies participated in this funding round which includes Nvidia, Microsoft, Atlassian Ventures, Greylock, Addition, SV Angel, PSP Growth, Workday Ventures, Frontiers Capital, and more.

Adept is a startup that builds AI to enable computers and humans to work collaboratively to solve prevailing issues in the market. As per the Forbes reports, the valuation was $1 Bn.

Responding to this news, David Luan (CEO & Co-founder), replied in a press release, “Giant foundation models for language and for images have shown astounding capabilities in the last few years. Adept is building on this momentum via a new kind of foundation model that can perform actions on any software tool using natural language”.

The injection of funding cash has raised Adept’s total funds to $415 Mn. As per David Luan, the newly raised fund will be put towards model training, productization, and enhancing manpower.
