On Tuesday, an AI-powered platform named Builder.ai announced that it has recently raised a whopping amount of $250Mn in Series-D funding which was led by the QIA (Qatar Investment Authority).

The latest funds together make a total of $450 million which was raised by the company recently with a 1.8X increase in the valuation.

Builder.ai has recently also announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft. Further, it also stated that the raised funds will fuel innovations and leadership while allowing more investments in partnerships, talent, as well as technology.

Sachin Duggal (Founder & Chief Wizard, Builder.ai) stated, “We are entering an incredible time in history where the very notion of software is changing; from something that had a shelf life of years to what will eventually have a shelf life of a conversation and the volume of what is being created is only going to grow exponentially.”

With increasing customer demand and AI expansion, Builder.ai has increased its headcount by 2X since January’22. It has also expanded its footprints in its UK Headquarters along with introducing four new offices including the UAE, the US, France, and Singapore.

In this round of funding, many existing as well as new investors participated. Insight Partners, Jungle Ventures, and Iconiq Capital are to name some.
