Genetec Launches a Security Center SaaS

New Delhi: Genetec, a leading provider of united security, has launched Security Center SaaS. This new SaaS solution will focus on managing access control, forensic search, intrusion monitoring, and automating various security tasks.

According to Christian Morin, VP of Product Engineering, Genetec, “With Security Center SaaS, organizations are no longer beholden to proprietary or feature-poor as a service solutions that needlessly force a choice of either all on-prem or all cloud. The enterprise capabilities and open architecture of Security Center SaaS are designed to enable systems to handle complex workloads where they make the most sense to be deployed.”

Security Center SaaS is a kind of hybrid software created for channel partners, providing them with room for bigger margins and lasting customer satisfaction without any need for additional investment to manage security operations.

With the automated quoting and ordering process, the system can become completely active after a few minutes of order placement. Its portal simplifies the procedure of quoting, ordering, deployments, etc., of large deployments. This will help Genetec partner channels to expand their businesses.

Due to its ability to monitor and manage various sites, Security Center SaaS is designed to fulfill the needs of businesses like retail, education, banking, healthcare, and so on.

Security Center SaaS is also capable of serving the low-density deployments with direct-to-cloud devices and scaling these devices via hybrid storage and processing.

Moreover, the operators would be able to manage security operations from SOC (Security Operation Center) or via mobile apps.

This new hybrid-SaaS architecture enables organizations to transfer their sites to the cloud based on their requirements to manage security operations. The open architecture offered by it enables businesses to pick up the cameras or door controllers for their business.
