Google Issues High Security Warning for Chrome Users

Google has come up with some major updates for Chrome users. Read On!

If Chrome is your go-to search partner, it is advised to update your browsers to the latest version now. Google has lately issued a warning to Chrome users of dangerous bug that might harm your device. However, any further details have been limited due to security purposes.

In a recent blogpost, Google highlighted that access to bug details and links has been constricted till the time a large number of users download the latest Google Chrome update. Nevertheless, to avoid falling victim to hackers who are looking to take advantage of the situation, you should update your browsers to the latest version 107.0.5304.87 for Mac and Linux and 107.0.5304.87/.88 for Windows. These versions will soon roll out over the coming days or weeks.

The dangerous CVE-2022-3723 bug was first discovered by the cyber security researchers at cyber firm Avast on October 25. Google mentioned in the blog post, “We would also like to thank all security researchers that worked with us during the development cycle to prevent security bugs from ever reaching the stable channel.”
