Microsoft has recently invested in HR tech unicorn Darwinbox as a strategic investor; however, no further details have been disclosed. This HR platform will integrate with multiple Microsoft solutions including Dynamics 365, Teams, Viva and Azure Active Directory to improve their employees’ experience. Darwinbox will use Microsoft’ power BI to improve its AI predictive analysis engine, visual analytics dashboards, business decisions, and much more.
The co-founder of Darwinbox, Jayant Paletti said about this integration, “We have a customer base of close to 750 and almost 80-85 per cent of these customers are already using Microsoft ecosystem. This integration will further elevate that. This will also further add muscle to our global expansion plans.”
The Director of Startup Ecosystem Microsoft, Sangeeta Bavi, said about this integration, “For Microsoft this will be the first such partnership in the HRMS space in Asia, wherein we are custom integration of Darwinbox offerings on top of Microsoft products”.
Darwinbox has a large customer base both in India and foreign markets including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
With this integration, $100 million annual run rate (ARR) is expected in the next 2 years for this HR platform.
