Nokia recently unveiled an exciting development in its Fixed Network solutions lineup. The suite will now be offered through a convenient Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery model.

As part of this expansion, Nokia introduced AVA Fixed Network Insights. It is a cutting-edge solution that helps operators enhance customer service and cut down operating expenses.

Fixed Network Insights will work on advanced AI and machine learning technology developed by Bell Labs. It will provide valuable insights across different types of networks, including fiber, fixed wireless access, and DSL.

AVA offers automated recommendations to customer care and operations teams, enabling them to proactively detect and address issues in the home and access domains before they disrupt network services.

Nokia said their Software as a Service (SaaS) strategy aims to empower operators by streamlining their operations, accelerating service launches, and delivering faster results. This approach revolves around providing services on a subscription basis, eliminating the requirement for substantial initial investments and on-premises Software upkeep.

AVA Fixed Network Insights is also anticipated to incorporate chatbot-driven assistance in the near future.

Julie Kunstler, Chief Analyst in Omdia, highlighted the importance of the Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model for operators. She specifically praised Nokia’s Fixed Network Insights as a vital element in the operators’ journey toward achieving fixed broadband networks powered by Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps).
