New Delhi: Paytm E-commerce has renamed its platform as Pai Platforms. In addition to this, it also acquired Bitsila, a prominent seller platform that works win the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).
Paytm E-commerce has become Pai Platforms Private Limited officially after getting approval from Registrar of Companies on 8th of February. Its acquisition of Bitsila solidifies Paytm E-commerce position in the ONDC ecosystem.
Bitsila offers omnichannel and hyperlocal commerce functionalities and assists brands like McDonald’s and BigBasket on ONDC.
This acquisition enhances Pai Platforms presence as the top buyer platform within the ONDC network. Bitsila’s function helps it to monitor almost 600 million product categories over 10,000+ stores in more than 30 cities. These products cover sectors like food and beverages, home decor, grocery, and so on.
