A vertical SaaS startup, Turns has raised $500K in a pre-seed funding round led by Better Capital. The pre-seed round also saw participation from PointOne Capital and a set of stellar angels.
Founded by Sukanth Srivastav and Vishal Gupta, Turns provides laundromats with hardware integrated solution and full stack software including hassle free payments, a modern POS, accounting, among other things.
The company launched its beta and claims to have signed up over 50 laundromats and dry cleaners in eight countries including India, the United States and the United Arab Emirates. However, for the upcoming 12 to 18 months, the primary focus of Turns will be the US market with an aim to achieve 1,000 customers.
Better Capital raised its first fund of $15.2 million in November 2021 to accelerate its pre-seed and seed investment strategy in India. It has invested in 60+ startups including Slice, Rupeek, Khatabook, Teachmint, Kutumb, Airmeet, and OTO, among others, until now.
