Adobe Inc. has laid off nearly 100 employees, concentrated in the sales team in order to reduce expenses. Reported by Bloomberg, Adobe is providing opportunities to some of their impacted workers to find other positions at the software company.
The company said in a statement that it has shifted a few of their employees to positions that support critical initiatives. The statement further adds, “Adobe is not doing companywide layoffs and we are still hiring for critical roles.”
Notably, Adobe employed nearly 28,700 workers, as per its Q3 2022 financial report. The company’s workforce reduction is way smaller than other tech giants including amazon.com Inc., HP Inc., Meta Platforms Inc., and more who have laid off workers in large capacities in the last few weeks.
Adobe is scheduled to release its 4th quarter and fiscal year results on December 15, 2022!
