Technopark’s Software Exports Increased by 15% to Reach Rs 9,775 Crores-feature image

As per the report released on 21st December 2022, it is said that Technopark’s software exports have increased by 15% to reach Rs. 9,775 Cr in the fiscal year 2021-22. However, the total software export during the fiscal year 2020-21 was Rs. 8,501 Cr only.

Technopark was the first one in the country in the ‘software-export’ domain when it was established here in the late 1990s. It is currently having a total of 70,000 employees working for it. It is operating with 470 branches along with a total ‘IT built-up’ area of 10.6 Mn sq. ft.

In the last 1.5 years, a total of 78 organizations were given office space in Technopark which totals up to 2,68,301 sq. ft. for the ‘IT built-up’ area.

Snehil Kumar Singh (CEO, of Kerala IT Parks) said, “The role of Technopark in Kerala IT exports has been profound and it has been increasing every year.”
He further goes on to say, “Technopark is looking at new horizons of growth and diversifying its product offerings so as to attract more companies and investments in the state”.
