RTIwala, a legal tech startup headquartered in Seoni Malwa, recently secured an investment of INR 25 lakh from the PontaqVC. The funding process was made possible with the assistance of NGIS-STPI based in Bhopal.
RTIwala announced that the funds would be used to support the growth of their team and further enhance their product offerings, as stated in official communication.
The couple, Sumeet Mahendra and Kritika Shrivastava Mahendra, established the company. It assists people and businesses in obtaining important information and official documents from governmental bodies. The platform prioritizes simplicity, speed, and cost-effectiveness in its approach.
According to RTIwala, the company has reported a threefold increase in its revenue during the previous fiscal year. Additionally, it has received grants from PIEDS, Padup Ventures and BITS Pilani.
Pontaq VC is a venture capital firm that funds technology startups in various countries, including the USA, Canada, the UK, and India. Now, they aim to invest in RTIwala.
Through this investment, Pontaq aims to support RTIwala in improving its services and widening its presence. The ultimate goal is to make government information more accessible, efficient, and cost-effective for citizens and organizations.
