New Delhi: The Ministry of Commerce collaborated with several other ministries and organized Bharat Mobility Global Expo, a 3-day auto show from 1st February to 3rd February at the Bharat Mandapam. From March 18 to 20, it will also organize a startup exhibition “Startup Mahakumbh” for different domains.
Piyush Goyal, Commerce and Industry Minister, on “Startup Mahakumbh” said, “It will be the largest get-together of startups, unicorns, soonicorns, all under one roof showcasing the India story- the story of our youth, talent, technology, innovation and spirit of inquiry.”
He further added that this will be the “largest event for startups” that will see the participation of multiple startups.
To represent India as the global mobility hub, Bharat Mobility Global Expo was organized along with industries like Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and the Automotive Component Manufacturers’ Association (ACMA). According to Goyal, more than 1,000 exhibitors and 100 startups were present at this event.
The Minister further stated that Bharat Mobility Global Expo will be held annually from now onwards. Till the last year, the Auto Expo show was organized in Greater Noida and Auto Components show in Pragati Maidan. These biennial events last took place in January 2023.
In addition to that, the government is also planning to organize a 4-day Textile Show at Bharat Mandapam starting from 26th Feb and ending on 29th Feb’24.
