SaaS companies on an All-time High: Reports Bain & Co

According to the SAAS report 2022 of Bain and CO Indian companies have been projected to take 8% of the global SAAS market in future or 35 billion in annual recurring by 2027. While growing 20-25 percent per year.

The report states that among the 1600 companies funded in the last five years, 14 now generate more than 100 million in Annual Recurring Revenue compared to only 1-2 five years ago. They are also reaching this growth milestone as fast as the US SAAS companies.

The ed-tech startup college Dekho recently got 9 million$ from Winter Capital which is double the previous investment. Last year the firm withdrew $35 million in a Series B summit with the help of the investment firms Winter capital and ETS strategic capital. Established in 2015, the firm connects students with their prospective colleges and has an AI-based chatbot that has helped more than 70 lakh students and around 1500 colleges in their career pursuits.

A digital lending platform mPokket is also looking to grow its workforce across various departments by March next year to maintain its growth. The company based in Kolkata has 2700 employees presently including those working in their Bangalore office.
