“Built both internal and customer-facing apps and flexible usage”
We didn’t just build internal tools, we also built a portal for clients via m-Power, which improved our service offering. The platform’s flexibility let us build both types of apps with the same toolset.
Pros : Intuitive web apps for accounting, reporting & dashboards/data analysis can be easily conceived and deployed.
Cons : Some customer-facing UI polish needed extra design work; by default the templates were solid but not glamorous.
Switched from : Brancher AI
Reason to switch : We had to manage two platforms previously (one for internal, one for clients) which increased overhead. m-Power allowed consolidation into one platform.

“Mature platform, but roadmap still evolving”
We adopted m-Power as our long-term development platform. It feels solid and reliable for wide usage. At the same time, we keep an eye on enhancements (especially UI/UX templates) and work with the vendor on roadmap.
Pros : Each of our 2-week sprints accomplishes with one programmer what many development shops would take months to develop.
Cons : Modern drag-and-drop designer capabilities (especially UI design) could be improved.
Switched from : OutSystems
Reason to switch : We switched because the previous vendor’s cost was skyrocketing and our apps hit performance issues. m-Power offered better scalability, less vendor-lock and stronger ROI.

“Support-team and partner ecosystem impressed me”
During rollout we had a few tricky integrations and the support desk helped us step-by-step. Having good vendor and partner backing gave us confidence.
Pros : The support team is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive.
Cons : At some points the documentation for niche advanced features felt less mature; early adopters sometimes waited for partner help.
Switched from : Mendix
Reason to switch : We considered an open-source platform but support and community were weak. We switched to m-Power because better support meant less risk and faster time-to-value.

“Affordable for enterprise-grade apps, but some training needed”
For our mid-sized company the budget for building custom internal apps was constrained. m-Power let us reuse our skill-sets (SQL, web) and build internal tools without hiring a team of full-stack devs. The cost-value ratio made it a good fit.
Pros : m-Power is “very affordable” for what it offers, particularly compared to heavy dev frameworks.
Cons : Because it’s powerful and flexible, some teams found the initial ramp-up required training.
Switched from : Jadu Connect
Reason to switch : We switched from fully outsourced development because it was expensive, time-consuming and inflexible. m-Power enabled faster build cycles and lower cost.

“Finally built internal apps without heavy coding”
In my role I needed to create tools for finance, operations and reporting without waiting three months for IT. With m-Power we built apps in weeks instead of months, connected to our databases, and exposed dashboards to users. It freed up our programmers and let business owners drive solutions.
Pros : m-Power is a low-code platform that lets our team build web apps, dashboards, and reports quickly using our existing database.
Cons : I found there is a learning-curve when you go beyond basic templates; you’ll still benefit from knowing HTML/Java for deeper customisation.
Switched from : Microsoft PowerApps
Reason to switch : We switched from Microsoft Power Apps because we felt limited by user-/app licensing, customisation constraints and vendor lock-in. m-Power offered unlimited users/apps, open architecture and no surprises.

“Integration with our legacy database was a major win”
Our backend was a legacy SQL Server database with decades of history. Many low-code tools insisted on new data platforms. With m-Power we were able to build apps directly on our existing data, reducing migration risk and cost.
Pros : According to reviews, m-Power “runs on any database or platform that supports Java” and integrates well with existing systems.
Cons : Some specific legacy systems required custom adapters; a few users noted limitations integrating with very old or niche databases.
Switched from : Nintex Low Code
Reason to switch : We were going to adopt a new ERP platform’s built-in app development, but the migration risk was high. We switched to m-Power because it let us leverage our current infrastructure and build faster.

“Security and control gave us peace of mind”
Given we operate in regulated industry, we needed full control of who sees what, audit-trail, custom security. m-Power allowed us to deploy behind firewalls, define row-level security and integrate with existing auth systems.
Pros : The platform emphasises enterprise-grade development, secure, scalable apps and gives control over architecture (on-premise or cloud) and avoids vendor lock-in.
Cons : Because security is strong, setting up governance/roles/user permissions required some effort.
Switched from : Tentoro
Reason to switch : We switched because SaaS platforms worried us from a compliance/control perspective; m-Power’s open architecture and on-prem options gave us greater assurance.

“Unlimited users/apps is real-world helpful”
When we rolled out our internal portal we didn’t have to worry about per-user licence costs creeping up. That freed us to deploy widely (finance, operations, sales, HR) without incremental cost anxiety.
Pros : One big selling point is that m-Power supports “Unlimited Users, Applications, and Data” with no user-limit hidden fees.
Cons : While unlimited usage is great, some organisations still needed governance and discipline to prevent “app sprawl” and maintenance burden.
Switched from : Quixy
Reason to switch : We switched because our old platform used per-user licences which scaled cost dramatically. m-Power’s licensing model gave us cost predictability and flexibility.

“Great for reporting and analytics, but interface could be smoother”
Our analytics team was drowning in Excel spreadsheets. With m-Power we configured interactive dashboards, import processes, pivot tables and web-apps to surface KPIs. This made monthly management reviews much faster.
Pros : Users say m-Power offers excellent reporting, visualisations, and low-code app development.
Cons : Some reviewers mention that the UI for very advanced features can be less intuitive; you may need to dig into HTML or custom code.
Switched from : Tableflow
Reason to switch : We switched because our old combination of Tableflow + web front-end required separate licences, heavy custom integration and was slow. m-Power bundled development + reporting + app deployment more fluidly.

“Rapid prototyping saved us time, though we still needed some dev work”
We used m-Power to prototype several internal tools within weeks instead of months. Our business sponsors were pleased with the speed of delivery. We then refined the apps with developers for advanced features.
Pros : Within minutes and a few clicks, have applications created to see and interact with data.
Cons : If you need a highly customised UI or complex logic you may still need HTML/Java; the platform is low-code, not no-code.
Switched from : BuildAI
Reason to switch : We switched because our internal dev backlog was long and we couldn’t quickly deliver business apps. m-Power let us shorten that lag significantly.
