New Delhi: Salesforce is in talks to acquire Informatica, a cloud data management company. This could be the biggest deal for Salesforce since acquiring Slack in 2020. Informatica is currently valued at $11.35 billion.
The deal pricing discussed is below the company’s current share price, $38.48, as per the Wall Street Journal.
Informatica was established in 1993 and provides subscription-based data management services over the cloud. Further, it also assists in automating the tasks for over 5000 active customers.
This company’s shares value has risen to almost 43% so far, which puts the company’s valuation at $11.35 billion.
Salesforce has been a prominent acquirer. In 2019, it acquired Tableau, a data analytics platform putting the deal’s valuation at $15.7 billion.
