“Strong Platform, But Customer Support Needs Work”

I switched from another payroll provider because Deel offered all the tools I needed. But when payroll errors happen, getting timely help is still a pain. Overall, it’s still better.

Pros : Deel is praised for its intuitive dashboard, ability to reduce administrative load, and helpful global hiring/contractor tools.

Cons : Some reviews say support is inconsistent, especially for urgent payroll issues; sometimes you feel your ticket is delayed or answered with a generic response.

Reason to switch : I moved from Papaya Global because their support for certain countries wasn't strong. Deel had better support and tools for the jurisdictions I hire in.

I appreciate everything Deel provides, but as a smaller company I sometimes feel we’re paying for things we barely use. Still, the trade-off has been worth it for global reach.

Pros : Deel is robust: global payroll, compliance, contracts, automated onboarding, etc. It handles a lot of pieces so I don’t need disparate systems.

Cons : For smaller teams that don’t need every feature, Deel can feel like overkill. Also, some pricing tiers are pretty steep.

Reason to switch : I moved from a domestic provider (Gusto) to Deel because our workforce became global and those domestic tools couldn’t cover the international side and compliance globally.

I manage remote contractors across several continents, and Deel simplified everything contracts, local labor law compliance, payroll, taxes. It saved me hours of manual tracking and worrying about misclassification.

Pros : Deel offers excellent employer-of-record (EOR) coverage in over 130 countries, and I found it very helpful for automating compliance tasks.

For remote teams spread across time zones and countries, Deel’s global payroll and contractor tools are fantastic. But I do sometimes lose money on exchange and wish the mobile experience were smoother.

Pros : Deel supports many countries, has many payment methods, and automates much of the compliance workflow.

Cons : Some users complain about less favorable currency exchange rates or fees when converting. Also, mobile/2FA delays crop up.
