“Cheap & Fast, But Not for Beginners”

I gave Lime?VPN a whirl after reading about its speed, and wow—35?Mbps on Amsterdam and almost 20?Mbps from Bangalore on my 50?Mbps connection. It unlocked Netflix and BBC iPlayer hassle-free. But it’s not plug-and-play—no Windows or mobile app, so I had to import config files into OpenVPN GUI. It took a bit of tweaking to get it working smoothly. And while the server network isn’t massive, if you know the basics, it’s solid.

Pros : Lightning-fast speeds, unblocks Netflix/BBC iPlayer, 30-day refund.

Cons : No native apps, limited server network, setup can be confusing.

Switched from : NordVPN

Reason to switch : I moved from NordVPN because I wanted raw speed and cheaper pricing, and I don’t mind manual setup for that.

“Had High Hopes, But Support Was a Letdown”

I gave Lime a chance after switching from PIA, hoping for a change. Setup wasn’t too complex, and speeds were “OK.” But then support became a nightmare. On my Windows box, none of the servers worked except Netherlands—and even that felt unstable. I reached out to support and heard nothing for over 24 hours. Then my account got canceled randomly after I asked for help, and my refund request went ignored. Super frustrating.

Pros : Speeds are okay, connection is straightforward once set up.

Cons : Poor customer service, inconsistent server availability, account issues.

Switched from : Private Internet Access

Reason to switch : I switched from PIA hoping for better support and speed, but Lime’s service ended up worse in both areas.

“Super Fast, No Logs—Budget-Friendly Gem”

I started using Lime?VPN because the price was unbelievably low—just around $1–2/month—but the speed and support are top-tier. I tested their Basic package and the connection flew, even on long-distance links. The no logs policy gives me peace of mind, and anytime I had a question, their live-chat helped me quickly—even a video chat setup once! Admittedly, I had to manually configure OpenVPN, which took a bit of time. And with only ~17 server locations, sometimes one gets busy—but overall, for everyday browsing and light streaming, it’s perfect.

Pros : Extremely affordable, blazing speeds, zero logs policy, responsive support.

Cons : No native apps, limited server options, setup is manual.

Switched from : Windscribe

Reason to switch : I switched from Windscribe once my free data cap ran out—Lime gave me way more bandwidth for way less money.
