For a casual user like me, Avast SecureLine VPN performs good. I can readily connect to many locations thanks to servers located in more than thirty countries. I like to adjust settings, but this VPN does not provide me a lot of options.

Pros : It has servers over 30+ countries which is decent for me as a casual user. I have a variety of locations to connect from.

Cons : It has limited advanced configurations. For someone like me who likes tweaking settings. It did not offer advanced options.

Reason to switch : I wanted an easier-to-use with a good range of server options and Avast met those requirements.

The kill switch option because it gives me peace of mind that my data will not be compromised in the event of a connection outage. But when I went to China and discovered it does not work there, I was let down.

Pros : I like the functionality of the kill switch as it is dependable. It ensures that my data does not leak if the VPN connection drops.

Cons : It does not work in China. When I traveled to China, I found out that I could not use it.
