“Extra Protection with Ads and Malware Blocker”

I feel safer browsing online since it provides an additional degree of security. Even though it is a minor improvement, it makes my experience better overall. I have seen that the server network is quite small.

Pros : The ad and malware-blocked features are nice to have as it act as another added layer of protection to my browsing experience.

Cons : It has limited server locations. The server network is decent but I wish there were more server locations to choose from.

Reason to switch : I moved to LetsVPN from Windscribe since LetsVPN gave better protection with its ad and malware-blocking features.

“Great Value for the Price, Needs More Platform Support”

It provides excellent value for the capabilities it offers. I have observed that it lacks apps for every platform. It can be a little annoying at times when I use platforms that do not offer the most polished experience.

Pros : LetsVPN is reasonably priced compared to other premium VPN services. It offers value for the features it provides.

Cons : It does not have dedicated apps for all platforms. Currently, some platforms do not have a polished experience.

Reason to switch : I moved to LetsVPN from Absolute Secure Access since LetsVPN gave better pricing and similar features.

“It Just Works in China—Fast & Reliable”

I was skeptical, but I tried LetsVPN after seeing it recommended for China. Setup was straightforward, and once connected on Windows and my phone, streaming YouTube at 1080p is a breeze—buffers only briefly. It always connects—no trial-and-error jumping servers like with some other providers. But on my iPad the interface forces portrait orientation, which feels odd, and I miss having split tunneling. Still, this VPN just works and that’s huge relief.

Pros : Connects instantly, stable speeds (10–20?Mbps), works well on desktop & mobile.

Cons : Mac/iPad app quirks, limited multitasking features.

Switched from : ExpressVPN

Reason to switch : I switched from ExpressVPN to LetsVPN because it offers faster, more reliable connections in China at a fraction of the cost.

“Great Support but Rare DNS Leaks”

Whenever I need assistance, they are fast to respond and offer solutions. When you depend on a service like this, it truly makes a difference. However, I have encountered a few DNS breaches.

Pros : The customer support is great. It is always responsive and provides me with quick solutions.

Cons : I have experienced sometimes that the DNS leaks. This is a threat to my privacy and security; this problem is rare though.

Switched from : Check Point Harmony SASE

Reason to switch : I wanted a solution that offered more affordable pricing and better customer service support which LetsVPN provided.

“Simple and Reliable VPN”

It is easy to connect to a server because of the user-friendly UI. I did discover that the free plan has some restrictions, though. I had to pay to the commercial version to fully utilize it because it did not get me access to all the functions.

Pros : LetsVPN is easy to use and set up. I found the interface intuitive and it made connecting to a VPN server easy.

Cons : It did have a limited free plan. The free version did not offer a full range of features until I opted for the paid version.

Switched from : SoftEther VPN

Reason to switch : I wanted an easier-to-use VPN with a straightforward setup and good speed. LetsVPN offered exactly that.

“Reliable Security but Not Ideal for Torrenting”

Every time I go online, I can be sure that my data is secure thanks to the encryption and security procedures. I do not use LetsVPN for torrenting. I use alternative VPNs for P2P activities because they are not optimized for them.

Pros : It has strong security. I feel confident using LetsVPN since it offers encryption and security protocols that protect my data.

Cons : I do not rely on the solution for P2P activities. It is not optimized for torrenting, unlike some VPNs.

Switched from : OpenVPN Access Server

Reason to switch : OpenVPN had a lot of unnecessary settings, while LetsVPN was easier to use and still dependable.

“Good Speeds, But Beware the Support”

LetsVPN impressed me with its free trial speed—on a HK server I saw close to 100?Mbps, which is very impressive. I could browse and watch content without any stutter. But when I tried downloading large files, their AI flagged my account and blocked me mid-subscription. Support was robotic and refused a full refund, only offering a vague deduction. I eventually had to get a charge-back. It’s fast and functional—but if you plan on heavy use, the support side may disappoint.

Pros : Great speed (~100?Mbps HK server), mobile connectivity works.

Cons : Customer support is unhelpful, AI blocks for big downloads, refund issues.

Switched from : MullVAD

Reason to switch : I moved from Mullvad just to try another provider, but I might return—Mullvad offers transparent policy and real support instead of AI blocks.

“Bye Bye Astrill—Finally a Stable Service”

After suffering constant slowdowns with Astrill in Shanghai and Guangzhou—frequent server drops, captchas, and error messages—I stumbled upon LetsVPN. Within minutes, Twitch and YouTube were smooth again, and the premium plan got everything working reliably. I can even choose “privacy mode” which improved performance. Torrenting’s not great (slow speeds), but that’s a minor trade-off for stable everyday use.

Pros : Instant improvement in streaming/twitch speeds, solid connection stability, short subscription options.

Cons : Torrent speeds are slow.

Switched from : Astrill VPN

Reason to switch : I left Astrill after two years of instability—LetsVPN gave me consistent streaming and fewer server issues.

“Great Privacy but Some Servers Can be Slow”

I am concerned about privacy; therefore, it is quite comforting to know that my surfing history is not being tracked. My browsing experience is affected by the slowness of some of the servers as I have discovered.

Pros : It offers a strict no-logs policy. This is reassuring to me since I like my privacy and do not want my browsing history stored.

Cons : I found that servers can be slow. Some locations work better than others, this affects my browsing experience a bit.

Switched from : Netgate pfSense

Reason to switch : Netgate pfSense had good features but LetsVPN was easier to use and still provides robust privacy protection.

“Great Speeds but Occasional Connection Drops”

It is dependable and quick, making it ideal for browsing and streaming without any lag. Usually, I can rely on it to meet my demands. Although it does not happen frequently it does happen occasionally.

Pros : It offers fast speeds which are reliable. It works great when I am streaming and browsing. It did not have any noticeable lags.

Cons : Sometimes I do experience connection drops. It can be frustrating when I am in the middle of something important.

Reason to switch : LetsVPN provides faster more consistent speeds which is the difference maker between it and Surfshark.
