New Delhi: Post providing a list of cloud offerings, Bharti Airtel now aims to strengthen its portfolio by unveiling fresh solutions for enterprises. With the most recent launches from the company including Airtel 5G Edge, Government Cloud, My Cloud, and Marketplace, the telecom major will further cement its foot in the cloud sector.

The company has already made its mark with notable cloud service offerings such as Edge Cloud, Sovereign Cloud, and Public Cloud services.

Under the edge cloud, Airtel has set up 120+ edge data centres in Tier 1 network that provides the Edge CDN service. The telecom giant partnered with Qwilt in Sep 2022 last year, ahead of the 5G launch.

Edge CDN aims to accelerate web and video content delivery by bringing the particular content in closest proximity to the user with the help of its edge network.

Regarding the Edge Computing service, Airtel plans to deploy Edge Computing Services for enterprises in India. This includes 120 network data centres in 20 cities for which the company has partnered with tech major IBM.

Airtel to very soon add Government Cloud and My Cloud under the Sovereign Cloud Offerings for dominate the Cloud Services market. Government cloud enables to host data on the cloud with compliance with the government regulations. My cloud gives liberty to users to leverage Airtel network distribution and emerging technologies.

The soon to available Marketplace would be a one-stop-solution for cloud connectivity that will offer a hassle-free experience to users.
