DPIIT Collaborates with Groyyo Allowing Retailers Selling ODOP Products to Make their Products Reachable Across the Globe-feature image

Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade believe that this step would raise an opportunity for sellers to understand the requirements of buyers and enhance their marketability across the world.

“ODOP program under DPIIT collaborated with an e-commerce player, Groyyo, onboard aggregators selling ODOP-identified products on its platform consisting of several categories such as home textiles, home décor.” said DPIIT.

ODOP or One District One Product program was started by DPIIT to promote products which are different and unique from different districts. Artisanal produces from Bulandshahr UP, Kani shawls from Budgam, bell metal crafts from Bastar in Chhattisgarh, and coconut products from Kerala’s Kozhikode have all been included on this platform. Categories on this platform have a wide variety of range including wellness, jewellery etc.

Furthermore, DPIIT has launched ODOP awards to motivate the vendors. The registrations for the same will be open till July 31st, 2023. All Union Territories and states, district administrations, and Indian missions which are abroad are all eligible to participate.
