Globe Telecom Incorporates Nokia AVA Energy Efficiency SaaS Solution to Reduce Network Power Usage-feature image

New Delhi: Globe Telecom has partnered with Nokia to use its SaaS-based AVA Energy Efficiency software to reduce costs and decrease network power consumption. The software will use AI and machine learning algorithms to help Globe Telecom shut down idle equipment during the low usage period.

The solution is available as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model to help Globe buy solutions on a subscription basis with quick service delivery. The SaaS based model has removes the upfront capital costs and the need for on-site software maintenance. With the use of AVA Energy Efficiency software, Globe Telecom has witnessed 3 to 6% power savings.

Corporate Communications Officer, Yoly Crisanto of Globe said that this partnership with Nokia will help them with efficient energy consumption and improving their network decarbonization initiatives. Further, it will also enable them to cut costs without impacting the customer experience.
