Google introduced its standalone iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) which will help the customers in connecting the applications visually and without any code.

Earlier, this integration was launched as an add-on to Apigee API Management but as customer demand for direct access increased, the standalone product was made available. The company says that the product helps in automating business processes by connecting applications that could be homegrown or third-party SaaS, through simple configurations.

The product has a drag-and-drop interface that enables users in building custom integration patterns. It includes a library of 75+ pre-built connectors and a set of triggers that allow the execution of integrations. It also has a Data Mapping Editor with extensive mapping functions. It has also enabled Google to enter the market with Salesforce, Microsoft, Software AG, etc., which offer similar features.

Amit Zavery, VP/GM and Head of Platform at Google Cloud said “Application integration is not a new challenge, but it’s getting more complicated and more critical with more systems required to be connected. Organizations need flexibility and don’t want to be too tightly tied to existing integrations.”

“There could be a process change, and organizations might want to replace integrations that no longer make sense. This is why Google Cloud’s Integration Services portfolio now includes Application Integration. Our goal is to help businesses of all sizes connect their applications and data visually without the need for complex coding or manual processes.”
