Google is now providing new and useful features for Workspace Individual users, including a new storage limit from the usual 15GB to 1TB.

In a blogpost, Google said, “Every account will be automatically upgraded from their existing 15 GB of storage to 1 TB as the company roll this out. You can store over 100 file types in Drive, including PDFs, CAD files and images, and you can easily collaborate on and edit Microsoft Office files without converting them,” Google further added that Drive comes with protections against malware, spam as well as advanced threats like ransomware. As a result, users need not worry about accidentally opening any spam file just by opening a doc.

Google also announced an update for ‘multi-send mode’. This feature allows users to mail multiple recipients keeping their privacy intact. Moreover, now you can personalize your emails to make your messages more impactful using merge tags (such as @firstname). This will give recipients the feeling that the email is crafted especially for them.

One of the other new feature includes Google expanding to multiple regions in order to make Google Workspace Individual accessible to business owners in Vietnam, Taiwan, Thailand, Belgium, Finland, Greece, and Malaysia.

The Google Workspace account is meant for entrepreneurs and small business owners who require a single account for managing their daily work needs. The option for such individual Google Workspace account was introduced by Google in 2021.
