New Delhi: Google has introduced its latest model named Gemini. This new model is designed in a way that it can behave like humans, and slightly better than other models in the market like GPT-4. Gemini can do multiple things like understand, summarize, reason, code, and plan, and it comes in three versions: Pro, Ultra, and Nano. The Pro one is already out, and Ultra is coming next year.

Currently, Gemini is part of Google’s chatbot, Bard and it directly competes with ChatGPT. You can chat with Gemini-powered Bard using text. The update currently works with the English language and it is accessible in 170 countries worldwide.

Gemini is made by Google’s DeepMind team and it is a LLM (large language model) that can handle text, images, and other data types, which makes the conversation more engaging.

Behind the scenes, Gemini uses Google’s new AI tech called Pathways, which makes it one of the latest and next-gen models. It comes in different sizes and can use memory and even fact-checking, for better and more accurate results to avoid mistakes.

People are excited about Gemini because it’s Google’s most powerful AI yet. It runs things like the Bard chatbot and Pixel 8 Pro. Gemini is one of the first artificial intelligence that was built from scratch to talk and understand like a human, making it a big deal in the AI world.
