HCLTech joins the XR Startup Program, that is an initiative between Meta and MeitY, the Startup Hub. It is to support the startups for extended reality technology across India. HCLTech, a knowledge partner, is going to help nurture an ecosystem for Indian startups to aid them in developing an inventive service.

It will include software and hardware for education solutions, agriculture-technology and healthcare. This will help in creating significant social, environmental and economic impact.

Vijay Guntur, President of Engineering and R&D Services at HCLTech said that Digital engineering is at tactical focus for HCLTech. Their participation in this program will strengthen support emerging technologies as well as innovations to drive growth.

HCLTech’s experts will provide the needed guidance, leading thought management sessions and provide perspective of the industry and business to the startups. Startups will leverage the global infrastructure of HCLTech, next generation of engineering innovation and technology labs to make, test and justify the use cases.

Shivnath Thukral, Director and Head Public Policy of Meta, India said that the firm is thrilled to collaborate with HCLTech for this program.
