Oracle has continued to expand its distributed cloud offerings for meeting the business needs and growing global demand for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services. The latest addition to this offering includes Oracle Database@Azure and MySQL HeatWave Lakehouse on AWS.

With these additions, the organizations can gain the flexibility to deploy cloud services almost anywhere. They will also help in addressing issues like data privacy and sovereignty, low latency, and so on. In addition to that, it has also announced the rapid global partner adoption of Oracle Alloy.

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure‘s distributed cloud has been designed to provide customers with multiple choices on where they should deploy their cloud services without compromising on the performance and scalability.

The Oracle Database@Azure will provide direct access to the Oracle Database Services running on OCI in Microsoft Azure. Moreover, it will provide all the advantages of Oracle Database on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. It also delivers a streamlined environment for cloud purchasing and management of Oracle Database and Azure services.

The availability of MySQL HeatWave Lakehouse on AWS, the AWS customers can also run transaction processing, perform real-time analytics for multiple data warehouses, and so on. Moreover, they can query terabytes of data in the Amazon S3 object storage in several file formats like CSV and Parquet.
