Jidoka Technologies announced the launch of its advanced self-training platform designed to transform AI-based object detection techniques.

Over the time of three years, Jidoka Technologies has been using its AI-driven software to address difficult visual inspection tasks, with a record of more than 40 success stories all over the automotive, print, consumer goods and packaging sectors.

The basis for approving or rejecting faults in components can vary because of factors like environmental state, the impact of outside elements such as dirt and oil on the part and adjustments in standards established on the part’s utility and its intended user. Even though these variations might be acceptable, automated machine software that relies on rule-based application would be rejecting the parts which will lead to a high percentage of false positives.

Sekar Udayamurthy CEO and Co-founder at Jidoka Technologies, stated that their technology is revolutionary as it enables the manufacturers to have quality inspection of goods. This makes sure that their own team performs quality control of their evolving production lines swiftly and effortlessly.

This unique software uses the ability of modern AI technologies with constant learning from various datasets and adaptation to changes. Therefore, it increases the efficiency and accuracy of visual inspections to unmatched levels either through software or humans

Jidoka deals with makers of automotive, textiles, general manufacturing, pharma, FMCG and printing industry fields as of now and will be expanding to other sectors, in the future. Its primary list of customers comprises Marico in the FMCG sector, IP Rings, Mudhra Fine Blanc Private Ltd, Shriji Polymers in the medical sector, Sansera Engineering and partners of Mondelez International.
