Veza, the popular data security vendor, has launched a new and comprehensive solution for seamless access to safety and regulation across SaaS-based applications, including Salesforce, GitHub, and Slack.

Veza for SaaS apps enables consumers to easily streamline access reviews, trim privilege expansion, and prevent SaaS mismanagement. This will help secure the surface attack linked with rapid SaaS app usage.

As SaaS-based apps are growing in numbers, security teams are facing major difficulties in governing and safeguarding the spread of the data they use.

Veza in SaaS-based applications can allow the consumers to easily secure their data in different SaaS applications through integration and protect them against breaches, possible cyber threats, and crypto-malware, Veza was quoted saying in a recent interview.

The company added that it could seamlessly integrate with fifteen popular SaaS applications, including Salesforce, JIRA, NetSuite, Slack, GitHub, and Gitlab, using an out-of-band approach for better flexibility.

The comprehensive solution for access monitoring is designed to easily notify the security teams in case of any newly granted privileged access and any potential drift it can bring to SaaS applications, such as adding new local admins in Salesforce. The system is well-designed and capable of tracking human and machine-based identities.

As per the firm, periodic access reviews for identity governance can be seamlessly automated through user access reviews and entitlement certificates.

The monitoring process for various SaaS-based applications involves thoroughly scanning for administrative errors and policy violations using around 100 pre-defined queries. These queries are specially designed to identify common misconfigurations in access control.

As per an article published in SaaS Governance Best Practices for Cloud Customers, business organizations are supposed to develop SaaS-based security strategies and comprehensive architectures that will help in the seamless deployment and maintenance of SaaS applications that should be built around monitoring, estimation, usage, and the termination of the SaaS services.
