“Affordable Lifetime Deal, But US Servers Stalled”

I grabbed GOOSE VPN on a lifetime deal via AppSumo—great value, and I liked that I could connect multiple devices at once. It’s stable most of the time and gives me confidence browsing safely. However, after a recent Windows update, the US servers almost never connect. It’s a real pain since I rely on them for some streaming and geo specific apps. They’re working to fix it, but as of now it’s quite limiting.

Pros : Lifetime plan offers great value; generally stable performance; unlimited connections.

Cons : US servers rarely work; occasional connection dropouts.

Reason to switch : I moved from ProtonVPN to GOOSE VPN because of the lifetime deal and unlimited device support—but I might reconsider if the US server issues persist.

That’s been great for torrenting and watching both US and UK shows. Setup was straightforward across Windows, macOS, Android, even Android?TV. The kill switch and DNS leak protection are also solid. But if you're looking for advanced features like split tunneling or a massive global server list, this isn’t it. And while they do have TeamViewer support, there’s no 24/7 chat. Also, their monthly rate at $12.99 feels steep compared to the yearly lump-sum deal.
