“Good for Time Tracking and Employee Engagement”
Paylocity has helped us streamline our employee time-tracking system, which has cut down on errors in payroll. The messaging tool is also handy for internal communication, making it simple to touch base with team members. That said, the layout of the software could be more intuitive, and some features take longer to learn.
Pros : Paylocity makes time tracking and employee communication much easier for our team. The messaging feature allows for quick interactions, and the time-tracking tool helps reduce errors in payroll.
Cons : Navigating through the different sections of the platform can be a challenge. Some users may require extra training to fully grasp all the functions.
Switched from : Portico
Reason to switch : We opted for Paylocity over Paycom for its focus on both time tracking and internal communication features.

“Useful for HR and Payroll in One Package”
We’ve been using Paylocity for both HR and payroll, and it’s been helpful to manage everything in one platform. The ability to track employee information, time off, and payroll in a single system has made things much easier. The downside is that there’s a learning curve when it comes to understanding how to use all the features.
Pros : Paylocity brings together HR and payroll functions, which has been very convenient for managing both aspects of the business in one place. It has cut down on the time we spend switching between platforms.
Cons : Getting used to the different functions took some time, especially for team members who weren’t familiar with similar systems.
Switched from : UltiPro HRMS
Reason to switch : Paylocity offered a better combination of HR and payroll tools compared to Workday, which helped with our decision.

“Great for Payroll Accuracy and Managing Benefits”
We’ve been using Paylocity for payroll and benefits management, and it’s been a reliable solution for those tasks. The payroll runs accurately, and we’ve had fewer errors since switching. Managing employee benefits through the platform is also very convenient. The only issue is that the design could be more intuitive, making it easier to navigate.
Pros : The accuracy in payroll processing and the ability to manage benefits within Paylocity has made a big difference for our company. We no longer have to worry about mistakes in payroll, and the benefits tracking is very helpful.
Cons : The platform’s design could be more intuitive, as some features are harder to find than they should be.
Switched from : PayEdge
Reason to switch : Paylocity offered better payroll accuracy and benefits management than Paycor, which was key for us.

“A Reliable Payroll System That Fits Our Business Needs Perfectly”
Pros : What I really appreciate about Paylocity is its simplicity and efficiency. It takes the headache out of managing payroll for a growing team. The automated calculations have saved me so much time, and I love how I can easily access reports and employee details without having to dig through tons of paperwork. It's also great that my team can access their paystubs and other information directly through the app, which makes things more transparent and reduces the number of questions they ask me.
Cons : One thing that has been a bit frustrating is the occasional lag when using the software, especially during peak times. There have also been a few instances where updates or changes to the system caused minor disruptions in how things work, which made it a bit tricky for me to navigate. It would be nice if the software had more customization options for smaller businesses like ours.
Switched from : ADP HCM
Reason to switch : ADP worked fine when we were smaller, but as our team expanded, I felt like I needed something more tailored to our specific needs. Paylocity seemed to offer more relevant features, and the pricing was more flexible for a growing business like ours.

“Great for Employee Self-Service Options”
Our team has been using Paylocity for a while now, and one of its biggest strengths is allowing employees to handle their own requests for time off, view pay stubs, and manage their benefits. It cuts down on the HR team’s workload significantly. The only downside is that the system can feel cluttered with features, so it took some time for our employees to get used to it.
Pros : One of the best aspects of Paylocity is the employee self-service features. Employees can easily access their pay stubs, benefits, and time-off requests without needing to go through HR. It saves our team time.
Cons : The system can feel overwhelming at first, and it took some training to get everyone comfortable with using it.
Reason to switch : Paylocity’s employee self-service options were stronger than Zenefits, which was a key factor in our decision.

“Highly Flexible for Customizing Payroll Reports”
I use Paylocity mainly for running payroll and generating reports, and I’ve been impressed with how flexible it is in customizing the reports. We can create exactly what we need, which has been useful for tracking different metrics. The only downside is the navigation; it’s not always easy to get to the specific feature you need.
Pros : The ability to customize payroll reports is excellent. We can easily adjust the reports to fit the specific needs of our business, which allows us to get the exact data we need.
Cons : The platform isn’t always intuitive, and it can be difficult to navigate when you’re trying to access specific functions quickly.
Switched from : Pagaar

“An Affordable Solution for Managing Employee Payroll”
Adiyogi Payroll has been a cost-effective and easy solution for managing payroll. It helps me keep track of pay, taxes, and deductions without much hassle. The customer support team has been quick to help out when I had issues or questions, which is something I appreciate. However, as my business grows, I’m noticing that I might need something with more advanced features, and I find the user interface could use an update to be more user-friendly.
Pros : I love how Adiyogi Payroll is affordable and does what it says on the box. For a small business like mine, it provides all the essential features without breaking the bank. It’s simple to use, and I can easily manage my employee pay, taxes, and deductions. The customer service is also very responsive, which has been a huge plus whenever I have questions or need assistance.
Cons : While Adiyogi Payroll works well for basic payroll needs, I feel like it lacks some advanced features that would be nice to have as my business grows. The interface could use a bit of a facelift—it looks outdated, and navigating it isn’t always the smoothest experience. It’s also a bit limited when it comes to generating in-depth reports.
Switched from : Zoho Payroll
Reason to switch : Zoho Payroll offered more features than I needed at the time, and it came at a higher price. I chose Adiyogi because it was more budget-friendly and had the basics that my small business required.

“Great for Payroll Management, But a Bit Overwhelming for New Users”
I’ve been using Paylocity for several months, mainly for payroll and employee tracking. It’s very capable when it comes to generating detailed payroll reports and managing benefits. I also appreciate that it integrates well with other software we use in the office. The downside is that it can feel a bit crowded with options, and I had to spend some time figuring things out.
Pros : Paylocity provides a lot of features that help handle payroll processes with ease. It’s helpful to have everything in one place, from time tracking to employee benefits. The payroll reporting options are very detailed and offer plenty of customization.
Cons : While Paylocity offers many functionalities, the sheer number of features can make it overwhelming at first. It can take a little while to figure out where everything is, especially if you’re unfamiliar with similar systems.
Switched from : PayEdge
Reason to switch : We switched because Paylocity offered more customization for payroll reporting and integrated better with other tools we were using.

I’ve been using Paylocity mainly for payroll management and have found the reports it generates to be insightful. It gives me a clear view of payroll trends and helps me stay on top of tax calculations. However, I did have to spend some time figuring out how to navigate the system to find what I needed.
Pros : I appreciate the range of reports Paylocity can generate. The analytics offer a clear view of trends in our payroll, which helps us better manage finances. The payroll processing is accurate, and the tax calculations are dependable.
Cons : While the software offers many features, learning how to use it efficiently takes a bit of time. Navigation isn’t always intuitive.
Switched from : Gusto HR
Reason to switch : We chose Paylocity over Gusto because it offered better reporting capabilities, which were a priority for us.

The time-off tracking feature is convenient, and it helps us ensure accurate payroll processing. The only issue is navigating the system, especially when trying to find certain functions. Pros : Paylocity allows us to keep all our employee records in one centralized location. The system’s capability to organize employee data and track time off has been very useful. Payroll runs efficiently, and it handles deductions and taxes smoothly.
Cons : It can take some time to adapt to the interface, especially when you are trying to locate specific features.
