“All-in-one business management software”

Pros : Tally Prime is one of the distinguished business management software. It helps in the accounting process, starting from invoicing, cost-management, payroll amongst others. Setting it up is fairly easy, and keyboard shortcuts work very well on it. Best software for small and medium size businesses.

Cons : I have observed that its speed goes down in client computers. Quite possibly that is due to the LAN infrastructure issue, which affects the usability of shared software and files. There is a challenge operating Tally Prime when it comes to dealing with complex accounting processes.

Switched from : QuickBooks

Reason to switch : Lack of support from the customer care team made us switch from QuickBooks Online to Tally Prime. We had heard that Tally Prime's functionalities and support is beyond what we were experiencing, and now we can vouch for it.

“Friendly Interface For Optimised Work”

Pros : It is easy to manage different business tools from one software, i.e. Tally Prime. I have been its user for the last 1 year, and have found the software to be resourceful, efficient and accurate in calculations and data maintenance. It has a friendly UI which makes it convenient to keep a tab on all accounts-related activities of vital use to the organisation.

Cons : Often it becomes a big task to download reports and vouchers when the data is in excess.

Reason to switch : There were plenty of customization and integration challenges with SAP ECC, which is the main reason why we made the shift to Tally Prime.

“The software offers good number of support features and best part is where you can print cheques directly from Tally software.”

Pros : Tally ERP 9 is a professional accounting software deployed by all kinds of companies and businesses. The software is the best for accounting and inventory management. You can print cheques here and manage sales/purchase orders with ease. The payroll feature for managing employees’ salary is just awesome.

Cons : Automatic backup option needed as files are gets lost if system gets corrupted

“The application is both robust and easy to use.”

Pros : This is an Indian product and let me tell you, this accounting software is the best. Using the software, you can be sure of receiving regular updates. For instance, there was this new update just a few weeks back only.

Cons : In order to make this software more in sync with the needs of bigger organizations, it is important that the platform upgrades itself.

“TallyPrime is ultimate business software”

Pros : TallyPrime is easy to use, user friendly, There is mostly shortcut key for almost command for ex. show ledger DAL. Easy in voucher entry, one can see ledger or other report from voucher entry screen through ALT+G (Go To). I love TallyPrime.

Cons : It has only one type of Invoice format. if you want to other than you can customize.

Reason to switch : TallyPrime is helping me in day to day business accounting with GST, TCS, TDS etc.

“The software works fine and is quite easy to use.”

Pros : Aside from being easy to use, there aren’t any hanging issues even if the software is deployed for heavy usage. You can create account for multiple companies and use the same on multiple windows. Every percentage and calculation is done by Tally software so need of doing any manual calculations.

Cons : No cons that I can think of.

“BEST PRODUCT FOR ALL TYPES OF ACCOUNTS”

Pros : I WAS USING SOME OTHER SOFTWARE BUT THAT WAS NOT COMFORTABLE WHEN COMPARE WITH TALLY PRIME IN TALLY PRIME CASH BANK TRANSACTIONS CAN BE DONE IN A SINGLE ENTRY THIS OPTION WAS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE OLD PRODUCT.

Cons : PRICE IS HIGH AND INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNT HOLDERS CAN GIVE LOW PRICE WITH SOME CONDITIONS.

“The software is the best and easy to use.”

Pros : To my knowledge, Tally ERP 9 is the best accounting software used widely. It would be even better if training is given to the staff over how to use the software.

Cons : The process of getting the license renewed every year may not be a feasible option for small businesses.

“Much Required and Well Adapted Software.”

Pros : TallyPrime comprises all the characteristics required by the applicable Act with regard to all legislative compliances. Tallyprime makes it simple to create reports and submit returns, whether they be for GST or TDS.

Cons : NA
