“Engaging Community Tools That Really Work”

Building a learner community was effortless, and the ability to host webinars was great. Yet, I ran into limitations with discussions and notifications.

Pros : Thinkific provides online communities, download guide and coaching with webinars.

Cons : Thinkific’s community engine is really basic.

Reason to switch : Mighty Networks offered richer, more modern community and notification features for engagement.

“No Fees and Custom Domain, Big Win”

I loved that my branding stayed front and center, and I didn’t lose earnings to fees. It took extra work to get polish, but branding mattered more to me.

Pros : No transaction fees and you get full control over layout with a white-label feel.

Cons : Takes more time to set up a polished course.

Switched from : Udemy

Reason to switch : Udemy had reach, but lacked full branding control—Thinkific let me own my student experience fully.

“Comprehensive Community Features, but Inconsistent Support”

I appreciated so many features included without hidden fees. Yet, when our courses went offline, support was slow and frustrating.

Pros : We build core features into our pricing.

Cons : I would say the customer support is lacking.
