Scaling up was surprisingly smooth—Thinkific made it easy to expand content, add downloads, and run webinars with minimal friction. But unlocking top-tier features was a big cost.

Pros : Thinkific offers a course builder designed for growing businesses, clean and allows businesses to grow.

Cons : Some advanced features are locked to higher tiers.

Reason to switch : Podia included most features I needed at a lower price point without tiered barriers.

Building a learner community was effortless, and the ability to host webinars was great. Yet, I ran into limitations with discussions and notifications.

Pros : Thinkific provides online communities, download guide and coaching with webinars.

Cons : Thinkific’s community engine is really basic.

Cons : ZERO SECURITY… paid subscriber can access the content URL… share the links freely.

Reason to switch : Teachable offered a more secure delivery system that protected my paid content better.

“Super Easy Onboarding with Great Support”

I launched my first course in no time. Uploading content and building modules felt intuitive but I wish I could tweak the course player more freely.

Pros : So easy to get started. Adding creator content is simple and the designing aspect is also very intuitive.

Cons : The limitations to customize the course player.
