New Delhi: Cisco unveiled Motific, a software-as-a-service solution designed to simplify and enhance the deployment process of generative AI for businesses.

Motific is a robust solution that offers a central view of the generative AI lifecycle from assessment to production.

This will empower the IT and security teams to provide reliable AI capabilities throughout their organizations, thereby maintaining control over vital elements like data utilization, ethical AI practices, etc.

It is a significant launch, which also marks Cisco’s entry into the field of generative AI deployment.

The recent Workato data revealed a staggering 400% growth in generative AI adoption across various business segments in 2023, with revenue operations and IT teams at the forefront of the implementation.

While generative AI can help businesses by making them more productive and profitable, it can also lead to trust issues because of its biases.

To prevent this, companies need to hire skilled people to easily choose the right AI model, use accurate data to create AI, and monitor how the work is being done.

Motific is designed to address this challenge as it will give your teams an all-in-one model that will seamlessly cover the entire gen AI journey from assessment and experimentation to production.

As an end user, you just have to set up the product with a few clicks, and it will automatically configure assistants and abstract APIs and retrieve augmented generation using relevant data sources and models.

According to Vijoy Pandey, senior vice president for Outshift, “IT teams can get started with Motific by visiting the library on Outshift’s website… Prospective customers can preview Motific during Cisco Live Amsterdam, and more information will be available in June 2024.
