New Delhi: With the computer-chip industry moving towards client AI, Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon X Elite chip launch, designed especially for laptops and PCs that will easily integrate into the Oryon CPU cores.

It’s a high-performing chip set to compete against the leading tech giants, including Apple, Intel, and AMD. The Snapdragon X Elite is constructed on a 4nm processor that uses an Oryon three-cluster configuration with 3.8 GHz cores that can boost up to 4.3 GHz for two cores during AI generation and other tasks.

In addition, the chip also supports the LPDDR5x memory, ranked as the fastest for PCs, and can easily accommodate up to 64GB of LPDDR5x-8533 memory. The new chip also has standout features like Adreno integrated graphics offering up to 4.6 TFLOPS of GPU performance. It also has superior display capabilities, handling larger workspaces with 25K external displays and three external UHD displays.

Qualcomm’s latest product range not only poses a challenge to Intel, AMD, and Apple but has also established itself as a leading player due to its enhanced AI capabilities, advanced processing power, and energy-efficient design.
