According to the RoC (Registrar of Companies), Zoho- a tech-based unicorn’s operational revenue has risen about 28.3% from ₹5,230 Cr. in FY-21 to ₹6,711 Cr. in FY-22.

The company’s overall profit has gone up by 43.3% to ₹2,749 Cr. in FY-22 from ₹1,918 Cr. in FY-21.

Zoho One (Zoho’s business application solution), accounted for about 52.6% of total receipts, which increased by 62% to ₹3,533 Cr. in FY-22 from ₹2,181 Cr. in FY-21.

Whereas the revenue from IT solutions (the largest revenue-generating domain) grown up by 4.1% to ₹3,158 Cr. in FY-22 from ₹3,033 Cr. in FY-21.

On the other hand, operational revenue from the other software maintenance, updates, and support licenses contributed ₹20 Cr. during FY-22.

The financial income of the Sridhar Vembu-led business increased 34% to ₹288 Cr. in FY-22, while bringing the total income close to ₹7,000 Cr.

The cost of employee benefits, which accounted for 51.1% of all expenses, ended up being the company’s greatest cost centre. From ₹1,725 Cr. in FY-21 to ₹1,827 Cr. in FY-22, this expense has increased by 5.9%.

The expenditure of Zoho’s advertising and promotion doubled to ₹715 Cr. in FY-22 from ₹335 Cr. in FY-21. In FY-22, it spent ₹175 Cr. on professional and legal fees with a rise of 23.2%. Additionally, it has spent Rs.125 Cr. on IT, which increased its entire cost by 18% to ₹3,572 Cr. in FY-22.

In terms of ratios, Zoho has maintained good EBITDA & ROCE margins with 43.38% & 31.27% respectively.
