New Delhi: DJI, on Saturday, introduced its first ever intelligent 3D editing model known as ‘DJI Modify’. It is claimed that the software is as simple as retouching photos for model editing.
The 3D modelling software can easily identify and automatically select floating objects, thereby enabling the users to delete them with just one click.
In addition, it offers support for the fast repair of water surface reflections and fine tune the editing process of urban landscape mapping models.
Well, DJI is now offering users an in-house solution for everything that you might need for aerial surveying that is from the seamless collection of drone data and processing to 3D model generation and model editing.
The best part is that DJI Modify can be launched in any DJI Terra 3D modelling project with just one simple click.
Christina Zhang, Senior Director of Corporate Strategy at Da-Jiang Innovation, was quoted saying, “As Da-Jiang Innovation’s first intelligent 3D model editing software, DJI Modify has completed the last piece of the puzzle… We believe this will lead the editing of live 3D models to a more intelligent new realm, empowering surveyors, transportation operators, and first responders to improve their workflow.”
Da-Jiang Innovation can quickly point out that the 3D model files can be easily imported and exported as ply, obj, b3dm, etc., thereby making them compatible with various third-party applications.
In addition, DJI is all set to enable the users to share their processed models to the cloud for online viewing and sharing via links without the need for any software installation.
