Add ReviewUsers generally appreciate Avast SecureLine VPN for its affordability, decent speeds, and strong security features, particularly its AES-256 encryption and DNS leak protection. Many find it convenient for streaming and integrating with other Avast products. However, common concerns include the limited device connections, lack of advanced features and customization options, and inadequate customer support. Additionally, the absence of a monthly plan and router support has disappointed some users, leading to mixed feelings about its overall value.
Pros
"It had affordable pricing. When being compared to some of its competitors, the pricing seems reasonable for short-term plans."
"It has seamless integration with other Avast products. It integrates well into the same ecosystem."
"It has servers over 30+ countries which is decent for me as a casual user. I have a variety of locations to connect from."
Cons
"You can only connect five devices at a time. Which is not enough for my family."
"It is not the cheapest option if you are on a budget. There are more cheaper options with more features available."
"It has limited advanced configurations. For someone like me who likes tweaking settings. It did not offer advanced options."

“Affordable but Limited Device Connections”
It provides fair value for the money when compared to other VPNs. The fact that you can only connect five devices at once is a drawback for a big family like mine.
Pros
It had affordable pricing. When being compared to some of its competitors, the pricing seems reasonable for short-term plans.
Cons
You can only connect five devices at a time. Which is not enough for my family.
Reason to switch
I moved to Avast SecureLine VPN from V2Ray because it was too complex for me to setup and use.

“It has seamless integration with other Avast products”
Managing everything in a single ecosystem is convenient. It is not the most economical choice. There are more feature-rich, less expensive VPNs available.
Pros
It has seamless integration with other Avast products. It integrates well into the same ecosystem.
Cons
It is not the cheapest option if you are on a budget. There are more cheaper options with more features available.
Reason to switch
UltraSurf felt outdated and was not functioning reliably for secure browsing.

“Decent Server Options but Lacks Advanced Features”
For a casual user like me, Avast SecureLine VPN performs good. I can readily connect to many locations thanks to servers located in more than thirty countries. I like to adjust settings, but this VPN does not provide me a lot of options.
Pros
It has servers over 30+ countries which is decent for me as a casual user. I have a variety of locations to connect from.
Cons
It has limited advanced configurations. For someone like me who likes tweaking settings. It did not offer advanced options.
Reason to switch
I wanted an easier-to-use with a good range of server options and Avast met those requirements.
