What Is Synology DS220+?

Synology DS220+ is a compact network attached storage device made to streamline and facilitate your multimedia and data control. This NAS solution features seamless data sharing, photo indexing, and video streaming. Moreover, it comes with an all-rounded data recovery and protection option. The Synology NAS storage device is powered by DiskStation Manager which is ideal for home and small office users.

The NAS data storage is powered by Intel’s Celeron J4025 dual core CPU and the Synology DS220+ supports 2.5- or 3.5-inch SATA SSD or HDD and it also features upgraded 2GB DDR4 RAM. Further, users can add more RAM that can be extended up to 4GB RAM.

The new 2-core processor easily categorizes photo memories, organizes audio files on computers, and lets users enjoy fast web apps. With support for networking file sharing protocols such as NFS, CIFS etc., the DiskStation allows offices to share and sync files across multiple devices for better collaboration.
