What are Card-Not-Present (CNP) transactions?

Aravind Kumar . Jun 25, 2024

A:

As the name implies, CNP (Card-not-present) transactions are the transactions where the physical card is not handed to the merchant at the time of payment. The customer provides their card details like card number, expiry date and CVV instead of swiping, dipping, or tapping the card itself.
