To draw a face on Procreate, follow the steps given below:
- Choose the pencil tool from the brush panel
- Draw the outline of the main shape of the hair loosely
- Make a rough sketch of the eyebrow
- Then we will sketch the bottom of the nose. Make sure that the bottom of the nose and the forehead are equidistant
- We will give shape to the chin
- Make two dots that would act as the caruncles of the eye. Mark two more dots adjacent to the prior points. These points would be on the far side of the eye’s corner
- Sketch a light line between the dots (In order to align the eyes)
- Make the iris of the eyes and then make the eyelashes
- Now choose a charcoal brush and then refine your eye by adding details like smudging eyelashes, making a pupil, smudging the caruncles, smudging the dark circle, etc.
- Make a small marking below the nose line and then draw a slight line for the mouth
- The width of the mouth should be the same as the distance between the pupils. Then move ahead and draw the lips
- Move forward with the jawline, by darkening the area around the face
- Now just refine the eyebrows and add details to the hair.
