If Eclipse is running slow, here are some ways to improve its performance:
- Optimize Memory Settings- Increase the heap size in eclipse.ini by modifying.
- Disable Unnecessary Plugins- Go to Help > About Eclipse > Installation Details and remove unused plugins.
- Clean Up Workspace & Cache- Delete old history and index files.
- Optimize Eclipse Preferences- Disable structured text validation under Window > Preferences > Validation.
- Use a Faster JDK- Ensure Eclipse runs on the latest JDK (e.g., Java 22).
- Upgrade Hardware- Increase RAM (at least 8GB recommended).
