AutoCAD for Mac and Windows are not counterparts, and they appear different due to different operating system's platform framework. AutoCAD for Windows has the ribbon, while AutoCAD products for the Mac OS have menus and tool sets. In addition, the PC version has some features that are not available on the Mac such as express tools, Object Enablers to add or exchange files, etc.
