Steps to Create a Budget in QuickBooks Online

• Go to Budgeting – Click the gear icon and select Budgeting.
• Create a New Budget – Click 'Create New' and choose the budget type (Profit & Loss or Balance Sheet).
• Select Fiscal Year – Choose the year for your budget.
• Choose Budget Format – Select Consolidated or Subdivided (by location, class, etc.).
• Enter Budget Data – Manually input values or use past financial data.
• Save & Review – Click Save and compare actual vs. budgeted amounts.
