Use FileUIEvents.OnFileSaveAsDialog to Intercept Save Behavior
You can hook into the OnFileSaveAsDialog event and override the filename programmatically. While you can’t grey out the field, you can force the filename regardless of what the user enters:
VBA Example:
Private Sub FileUIEvents_OnFileSaveAsDialog( _
ByRef FileTypes() As String, _
ByVal SaveCopyAs As Boolean, _
ByVal ParentHWND As Integer, _
ByRef FileName As String, _
ByVal Context As NameValueMap, _
ByRef HandlingCode As HandlingCodeEnum)
' Force the filename
FileName = "lv005.ipt"
HandlingCode = HandlingCodeEnum.kEventHandled
End Sub
This overrides the dialog result and saves with your desired filename.
