To color line art in Procreate follow the steps given below:
- Prepare your line art first. You could do it either by tracing an image or your choice or making something original of your own.
- Then you must choose a color palette which must go along with your artwork.
- Then you must create a new layer just for coloring purposes.
- Start with the base color and then you could head on with adding the edgy colors.
- Add shadow and highlight to give depth and life to the image.
- Then move on with blending, it gives smooth transition to the artwork.
- Add effects and texture I.e. adjust the noise, gaussian blur and halftone, so that the image does not looks caustic.
