To use Pantone colors in InDesign follow the steps given below:

  • Click on the Window menu in the toolbar.
  • Under Color you will find Swatches. Click it. Then choose New Color Swatch.
  • A sub window pops up where you could choose Color Mode. A drop-down menu appears from where you could choose the Pantone color book.
  • Select Pantone solid coated color, that will further give you the option to choose the color.
  • Choose the color that suits you the best.
  • Click OK.
