To get pantone colors in InDesign, follow the steps given below:

• Click on the Window menu in the toolbar
• Under Color you will find Swatches. Click it. Then choose New Color Swatch
• A sub window pops up where you can choose Color Mode. A drop-down menu appears from where you can choose the Pantone color book
• Select Pantone solid coated color, that will further give you the option to choose the color
• Choose the color that suits you the best
• Click OK.

To find PMS color in InDesign, follow the steps given below:

• Open your InDesign project
• Click on Window and then tap on Color
• Choose Swatches
• Click New Color Swatch in the menu at the top right
• Choose your ideal PMS type from the color mode, i.e., Pantone Solid Coated or Pantone Solid Uncoated.

• Go to the Windows tab
• Select Color and then choose New color Swatch

  • /Library/ColorSync/Profiles
  • /User/[user name]/Library/ColorSync/Profiles
• Now restart the application
