There can be several reasons why you are able to view the downloaded file:

  • The firewall or the antivirus that you have in your system might be acting as a hinderance
  • Some security files like ESET NOD32 could be causing resistance against opening the files
  • The downloaded file might have been relocated to somewhere else.
